Cert4Sure Terms of Use

Effective Date: October 18, 2026

Independent educational application • Free and Premium access

Contact: certi4sure@gmail.com

Please read these Terms carefully before using Cert4Sure. By downloading, accessing, purchasing, or using the application or its content, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who We Are and Scope of These Terms

Cert4Sure (the “App,” “Service,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is operated by an independent developer. These Terms govern your access to and use of the Cert4Sure mobile application, educational content, practice questions, explanations, simulations, study tools, and any Premium features.

Operator legal name and contact address: Gerton Dervishaj, Rruga Gjik Kuqali, 1001 Tirane, Albania

The operator is a private individual based in Albania and does not claim incorporation, licensing, or a business establishment that does not exist. Trader information required by applicable law or app-store rules is shown on the App’s store listing.

If mandatory law in your place of residence gives you rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, those rights remain unaffected.

2. Educational Purpose; No Exam Guarantee

Cert4Sure is provided solely for independent education, self-study, knowledge assessment, and exam-preparation practice. The Service is intended to help users understand cybersecurity concepts and practice applying them to scenario-based questions.

Cert4Sure does not guarantee that you will pass any examination, receive any certification, obtain employment, achieve a particular score, or encounter the same topics, wording, difficulty, sequence, format, or answer choices on an actual examination. Certification bodies may change their exam objectives, domains, policies, scoring, format, eligibility rules, and content at any time.

You remain responsible for reviewing the current official exam outline, candidate rules, eligibility requirements, and examination policies published by the applicable certification body before sitting an examination.

3. Independence From Certification Bodies and Trademark Notice

Cert4Sure is an independent product. Unless expressly stated otherwise in a written authorization from the relevant rights holder, Cert4Sure is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, approved by, authorized by, operated by, or an official training partner of any certification body, examination provider, testing center, publisher, or standards organization.

CISSP is a registered certification mark of ISC2, Inc. Cert4Sure is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by ISC2.

Names of third-party certifications, organizations, products, standards, and technologies may be referenced only where reasonably necessary to identify the subject matter of study, describe compatibility or educational context, or discuss a concept. All third-party names, marks, logos, and other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners. No ownership, license, endorsement, or affiliation is claimed by Cert4Sure.

Cert4Sure does not grant users any right to use third-party certification marks or logos. Users must comply with the applicable rights holder’s trademark, certification-mark, examination, and candidate policies.

4. No Exam Dumps; Confidential Exam Materials

Cert4Sure is not an exam-dump service. The Service is not intended to contain, solicit, reproduce, distribute, reconstruct, memorize, transmit, or commercialize confidential, leaked, stolen, recalled, or unauthorized live examination questions or answers.

Practice questions and explanations provided by Cert4Sure are intended to be independently created educational material addressing general concepts, objectives, and skills. Similarity in subject matter, terminology, standards, or concepts that are necessarily studied for a certification does not mean that a practice item is an actual examination item.

You must not submit, upload, transmit, paste, describe, reconstruct, or otherwise provide to Cert4Sure any material that you know or reasonably should know is confidential examination content, including material recalled from a live exam in violation of an examination agreement or non-disclosure obligation. We may remove suspected exam-confidential material and restrict or terminate access associated with such conduct.

5. Eligibility and User Responsibility

You may use the Service only if you can lawfully enter into these Terms in your jurisdiction. If you are below the age at which you can independently consent to digital services or purchases, you may use paid features only with any consent required by applicable law and the applicable app store.

You are responsible for the device, operating system, internet access, app-store account, and other equipment or services required to use Cert4Sure. You are also responsible for safeguarding any account, entitlement, purchase credential, or device access associated with the Service.

6. License to Use Cert4Sure

Subject to these Terms and any applicable app-store rules, we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to access and use Cert4Sure and its content for your own lawful, non-commercial study and exam preparation.

The license does not transfer ownership of the App, question bank, explanations, study notes, user interface, databases, compilation, software, graphics, or other Cert4Sure content.

7. Prohibited Uses

Except where a restriction is prohibited by applicable law, you must not:

copy, reproduce, republish, sell, license, rent, distribute, upload, publicly display, or create a competing question bank or commercial study product from Cert4Sure content;

systematically scrape, bulk-export, redistribute, or automate extraction of protected question banks or explanations; this does not prohibit ordinary personal screenshots, accessibility tools, lawful quotation, or activities that applicable law protects;

share Premium access, purchase credentials, entitlement tokens, or access mechanisms with unauthorized users;

circumvent paywalls, access controls, rate limits, technical protection measures, or Premium entitlement checks;

reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code except to the limited extent that applicable law expressly permits such activity despite this restriction;

use the Service to obtain, distribute, solicit, or discuss confidential live exam material in violation of an examination agreement, NDA, law, or third-party right;

use the Service in a way that infringes intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality, contractual, or other legal rights;

introduce malware, interfere with the Service, abuse APIs or infrastructure, or attempt unauthorized access to systems or data;

misrepresent Cert4Sure as official, authorized, accredited, endorsed, or affiliated with a third-party certification body.

8. Free Access, Premium Access, Purchases and Entitlements

Cert4Sure offers free study functionality and may offer paid Premium features. The exact included features, content, purchase type, price, taxes where applicable, duration, and any trial or renewal conditions are displayed in the App and the applicable app-store checkout before purchase. Only the offer actually shown and accepted at checkout applies to that transaction. No subscription, trial, or lifetime entitlement is promised unless expressly identified in that offer.

Digital purchases made through Apple App Store or Google Play are processed using the platform billing system where required by its applicable rules. Premium access is associated with the purchase entitlement recognized by the applicable store. Where supported, users can restore eligible purchases through the App or store account. Cross-platform transfer of purchases is not guaranteed unless expressly offered.

We do not intentionally charge hidden mandatory fees. If a recurring subscription is offered, its price, billing interval, automatic renewal terms, trial conversion (if any), cancellation method, and material benefits will be disclosed before purchase. Cancelling a subscription generally stops future renewal and does not by itself guarantee a refund for the current period, subject to store terms and mandatory law.

9. Cancellations, Refunds and Statutory Consumer Rights

To manage or cancel a store subscription, use the subscriptions section of the Apple App Store or Google Play account used for the purchase. For a refund, use the refund process of the store or payment provider that processed the transaction, or contact certi4sure@gmail.com for help identifying the relevant process. Mandatory consumer cancellation, withdrawal, and refund rights remain unaffected.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a refund, repair, price reduction, cancellation, withdrawal right, or other remedy that applicable law makes mandatory. If a digital product or service is defective or not supplied as legally required, you may have statutory remedies that cannot be waived by these Terms.

Where a purchase is refunded, reversed, charged back, cancelled, or otherwise invalidated, access to the corresponding paid entitlement may be removed to the extent permitted by law and platform rules.

10. Content Accuracy, Updates and Corrections

We aim to provide useful, accurate, and understandable educational content, but cybersecurity standards, technologies, laws, exam outlines, terminology, and best practices evolve. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cert4Sure does not warrant that every question, explanation, study note, statistic, reference, or feature will always be complete, current, error-free, or suitable for every exam version.

We may correct, revise, replace, retire, or update educational content when an error is identified or the underlying subject matter changes. To report an issue, email certi4sure@gmail.com (or use Profile → Contact Support in the App) with the question text (or a screenshot of the question), the suspected error, and a short explanation. Reports are reviewed, but a specific correction date or individual response is not guaranteed.

11. Intellectual Property

As between you and Cert4Sure, and subject to third-party rights, the original Cert4Sure software, original question wording, original explanations, original study notes, selection and arrangement of content, visual design, and other original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Third-party standards, laws, technical terms, certification names, product names, trademarks, and other third-party materials remain owned by their respective rights holders. Cert4Sure claims no ownership over them merely because they are referenced for educational purposes.

If you believe content in the Service infringes your copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property right, contact certi4sure@gmail.com with identification of the work or right, the allegedly infringing material, its location in the Service, your contact details, and a good-faith explanation of the claim. We may request additional information and may remove or restrict content while reviewing a credible notice.

12. Feedback

If you voluntarily send suggestions, corrections, feature ideas, or other feedback directly to us, you permit us to use that feedback to improve the Service without an obligation to compensate you, provided that this does not transfer ownership of your unrelated pre-existing intellectual property.

Nothing in these Terms restricts your right to publish an honest review of Cert4Sure or your genuine experience with the Service. We do not require users to surrender intellectual-property rights in independent consumer reviews merely because they use Cert4Sure.

13. Privacy and Data

Our handling of personal data is described in the separate Cert4Sure Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy describes actual data categories, processing purposes, service providers, retention, deletion options, and user rights; these Terms do not replace that policy.

The Privacy Policy is available in the App (Profile → Terms & Privacy → Privacy Policy) and at https://cert4sure.app/privacy-policy.

Depending on the implemented features, app stores, operating systems, payment systems, analytics, crash reporting, and other third-party services may process data under their own notices. The actual integrations and data flows must match the published Privacy Policy and applicable store disclosures.

Local study data: Cert4Sure does not require an account and does not synchronize your study data to a cloud service. Progress, practice history, flagged questions, settings, and any saved exam date are stored on your device.

Backup: the App lets you export your study data as an encrypted backup file (Profile → Export my data), protected by a passphrase you choose. You decide where the file is saved or shared. We never receive the file or the passphrase and cannot recover a lost passphrase — a backup whose passphrase is lost cannot be restored. Importing a backup (Profile → Import my data) replaces the study data currently on the device; it is not merged with it.

Without an exported backup, your study data cannot be recovered after uninstalling the App, clearing its data, losing the device, or changing devices. You are responsible for keeping your backup file and passphrase safe. Removing local data does not necessarily cancel a store-managed subscription or refund a purchase.

14. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service may depend on or link to third-party services such as app stores, payment processors, operating-system services, analytics providers, cloud infrastructure, or external educational references. Those services are controlled by their respective providers and may have separate terms and privacy practices.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for outages, policy changes, security incidents, content, or conduct of independent third-party services that are outside our reasonable control.

15. Availability, Maintenance and Changes

We may maintain, update, improve, secure, or modify the Service. Features may change as the product develops. We may temporarily suspend access when reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We will not intentionally remove paid access merely to force a user to repurchase substantially the same entitlement. Any material change affecting paid rights will remain subject to applicable platform rules and mandatory consumer law.

16. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address fraud, unlawful conduct, security threats, material breach of these Terms, unauthorized distribution of protected content, circumvention of access controls, or misuse involving confidential exam materials.

Where appropriate and legally required, we will take proportional action and provide notice or an opportunity to address the issue. Termination does not eliminate rights or obligations that by their nature should survive, including intellectual-property protections, payment obligations already incurred, and lawful limitations of liability.

Mandatory consumer rights concerning paid digital content remain unaffected.

17. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. WE DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES ONLY TO THE EXTENT THEY MAY LAWFULLY BE DISCLAIMED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT USE OF CERT4SURE WILL GUARANTEE EXAM SUCCESS, CERTIFICATION, EMPLOYMENT, A PARTICULAR SCORE, UNINTERRUPTED ACCESS, OR COMPLETE FREEDOM FROM ERRORS.

THIS SECTION DOES NOT EXCLUDE ANY WARRANTY, GUARANTEE, CONFORMITY OBLIGATION, OR CONSUMER REMEDY THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED.

18. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CERT4SURE AND ITS OPERATOR WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, DATA, GOODWILL, OR EXAM FEES, ARISING FROM USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, WHERE SUCH EXCLUSION IS LAWFUL.

WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE EXCLUDED BUT MAY LAWFULLY BE LIMITED, THE AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE SERVICE WILL BE LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR CERT4SURE DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) USD 50, EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT A HIGHER AMOUNT IS REQUIRED BY MANDATORY LAW.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where limitation is prohibited by law, including liability that applicable law does not permit a trader or service provider to exclude or cap.

19. Your Responsibility for Unlawful Misuse

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you are responsible for losses, claims, or costs resulting from your intentional unlawful misuse of the Service, your unauthorized commercial redistribution of Cert4Sure content, your infringement of third-party rights, or your knowing submission or distribution of confidential exam material. This provision is not intended to impose liability on consumers for matters for which applicable law does not permit contractual indemnification.

20. Consumer Fairness and Honest Reviews

These Terms are intended to be interpreted fairly and in plain language. We do not seek to waive non-waivable consumer rights, prevent users from pursuing remedies that mandatory law preserves, or prevent honest reviews. If a provision conflicts with mandatory consumer law applicable to you, the mandatory law controls to the extent of the conflict.

21. Governing Law and Disputes

Cert4Sure is offered by the operator identified above. Mandatory consumer-protection rules and any non-excludable rights of the user’s place of habitual residence remain unaffected. No fictional place of incorporation, business establishment, or jurisdiction is asserted by these Terms.

Except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise, disputes should first be raised in good faith by contacting certi4sure@gmail.com so the parties can attempt an informal resolution. Nothing in these Terms deprives a consumer of the protection of mandatory laws or courts that apply under the law of the consumer’s habitual residence or another jurisdiction whose rules cannot lawfully be displaced by contract.

Subject to the paragraphs above, these Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Albania, where the operator is based. This choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your habitual residence.

22. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms for changes to the Service, law, security requirements, platform rules, or business model. The effective date above will be updated. Material changes will be communicated through the App or another appropriate channel where required; we will seek renewed consent where the law requires it. Continued use after an effective change constitutes acceptance only where lawful.

Changes will not retroactively remove mandatory rights that accrued under applicable law.

23. Severability; No Waiver; Assignment

If a provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply where legally possible. A failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive the right to enforce it later.

We may transfer operation of Cert4Sure and these Terms to a successor business or legal entity in connection with a genuine reorganization, sale, or transfer of the Service, subject to applicable law and without reducing mandatory consumer rights. Users may not transfer paid entitlements except where the applicable store or law permits.

24. Entire Agreement and Platform Terms

These Terms, the Cert4Sure Privacy Policy, the purchase information shown at checkout, and any mandatory app-store terms applicable to your transaction form the relevant agreement concerning your use of Cert4Sure. If mandatory platform rules or consumer law conflict with these Terms, those mandatory rules control to the extent of the conflict.
